There are five tribes:
River Tribe (deals with agriculture and fishery
Merchant Tribe (commerce and trade)
Border Tribe (border security, Wakanda's first line of defense)
Mining Tribe (vibranium management)
The Jabari tribe
The first four tribes pledged allegiance to Bashenga, and continued to develop into the mdoern world. Whereas Jabari refused, and settled into the mountains, continuing the traditional way of life.
A sixth tribe was formed (The Golden Tribe) which included Bashenga's line of royalty.
Wakanda's military consists of the Wakandan Royal Guard, including the Dora Milaje (an elite group of all-female warriors).
Wakanda uses the vibraium found in their land to develop their technologies. Because of their advances, Wakanda conceals themselves from the rest of the world.
